Volunteer Opportunities
Board Members
Provide guidance and leadership to Waste Not Want Not by helping shape policies, strategic goals, and community partnerships. Board members meet periodically to review progress and ensure the organization is fulfilling its mission.
Fundraising Volunteers
Assist in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns. Help identify new donors, write appeals, or support special projects that sustain our clothing assistance programs.
Marketing Volunteers
Promote Waste Not Want Not through social media, newsletters, flyers, and community outreach. Help us build awareness so more families can access our services and more donors can join our mission.
Community Relations Volunteers
Act as a liaison between Waste Not Want Not and the community. Attend local events, distribute flyers, and strengthen relationships with schools, churches, businesses, and other organizations.
Donation & Clothing Support Volunteers
Help sort, organize, and display donated items. Assist individuals and families during their visits, ensuring they find what they need in a welcoming environment.
General Volunteers
Support daily operations, administrative tasks, or special projects as needed. This role offers flexibility and a chance to learn about different areas of nonprofit work.
